Community Volunteer Day at the Motherland Community Gardens!
Please fill out the Volunteer Form
Volunteers should have their own garden gloves (We do provide new/used gardens gloves).
We recommend wearing tennis shoes, boots, long-sleeved pants and shirts. If wearing short sleeves, they should have mosquito repellent and sunscreen.
Indoor restrooms are available, with running water and a shelter tent.
Personal water bottles, but Motherland provides water and ice. Volunteers can bring their own tools if they want, but we usually have tools.
Street parking is available on Cass Street, Lawrence Avenue, and in front of the red brick building behind the gardens. Also, on 15th Street, park only on the Motherland side of the Street (West side). Please let us know about any restrictions and allergies.
Call/text us @217-900-0876 anytime for more details.
