We are planning to set extra tables for those willing to join hand with us during the Friday giveaway operation.
If you have any perishable or non-perishable food items, soap, laundry pods, tissues, roll of toilet papers that you want to donate, please bring them at 1400 E Lawrence Street on Friday or text this number 217-900-0876 to schedule a drop off time between Monday 11/03 and Friday 11/07. We will continue to receive donations after these dates (an update will be posted)

You can opt for a direct drop-off at one of our 24/7 access pantries located at: 815 S 15th and 2200 S16th Street, Springfield, IL 62703.
—-Please dry food only, do not put items that needs refrigeration/ cold storage, no plates, spoons, shoes, clothes, toys.

For those that are going to be potentially or are already affected by the cuts on snap benefits (Lost or reduction of benefits, need volunteer/work/training hours or else), please be on the lookout, we have been working hard and will be posting opportunities in a couple of days.
We do not pretend to have the answers for all requests, but our organization have been proactively working on many communities led solutions rooted in resilience to help mitigate the consequences of past and current senseless policies that have crippled low-income families and underserved communities.
