The 2026 growing season is now underway, and we are excited to welcome you to our various sites. Please find our schedule for the coming months below:
March:
Weekend: 11-6 pm 03/28 & 29
Weekdays: 5-7pm 03/24 thru 03/27
April:
Weekend: 11-6pm .04/04, 05, 11, 12, 25 & 26
Weekdays: 5-7pm 04/1 thru 04/3, 9, 10 &13, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 27,28,29 &30
May:
Weekend: 11-7pm 05/9,10,16,17,23,24, 30 & 31.
Weekdays: 5-7pm 05/4,5,6,7,8, 11, 12, 13,14,15, 18,19,20,21,22,25,26,27,28 &29.
Volunteers are welcome to request an early start or a late stop. There are no set hourly requirements; we simply appreciate any time you are comfortable contributing.
Please note that we will host grill-outs & potlucks on these specific dates: 04/04, 05/10, and 05/25, everyone is invited to attend as always.
Seeds give away will happen on Saturday April 4th.
Additionally, the AIWO is organizing the Color Me Holi 5K Run/Walk at Washington Park on 04/25 from @10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. All proceeds will be donated to Motherland Gardens. You can sign up for this event here: https://runsignup.com/Race/IL/Springfield/HoliCelebration5K
